Situation
A media server is needed to share content from the computer with the TV

Checklist
Ensure that:
• The TV and the computer are connected to the same home network
 
Answer
To share files from a PC to a TV, please install and try one of the programs in the list below on a PC.

When choosing a program from the Wikipedia list, keep the following in mind:
• DLNA support - Required for Philips TVs
• UPnP support - Required for Philips TVs
• Transcoding - Recommended when using a high end PC. Transcoding makes the PC help the TV to play more file formats than the TV originally can play.

On the TV
Select the [Source] button on the remote control of the television and select [Browse Network]
This list will show available network sources including your server.

On the PC
For support on how to share the files from the media server program itself, read about the program on the internet or contact the developer of the program.
