Situation

One of the following occurs:

● The TV cannot connect to the wireless network when using a 5 GHz router.

● The TV does not detect the wireless 5 GHz network signal.

Answer

Even if the 5 GHz Wi-Fi is accessible via other devices such as mobiles, tablets and laptops, the TV is not able to find the current Wi-Fi channel of the router. The router setting “Auto channel” can be switched off in order to manually select one of the supported Wi-Fi 5 GHz channels*. The overview below shows which Wi-Fi channels are supported by the TV:

2.4 GHz channels:  All (= 1 to 13)

5.0 Ghz channels: 36, 40, 44, 48

5.0 Ghz channels: 52, 56, 60, 64, 100, 104, 108, 112, 116, 120, 124, 128, 132, 136, 140
