TV troubleshooting and FAQs

Situation
When watching channels, Multiview allows you to view two channels at the same time on the full screen. The second screen is shown in a small version in the top right corner. The small screen has no sound. Multiview is only available for digital channels installed on the TV.

Next to that, Multiview enables switching in between last opened applications, for example switching from a game to the Chrome web browser, and back again. This is possible when watching analogue channels or when in the Android environment.

Answer
Multiview opens a second small screen, as a kind of picture-in-picture. Only the programme shown on the large screen will have audio. It is also possible to change channels in the main screen, with the small screen continuing to be displayed on the main screen

To open Multiview
1. Press the “Source” button and select either Antenna TV, Cable TV or Satellite TV and tune to a channel.

2. Press the “Multiview” button. If Multiview is available, a small taskbar appears with the Multiview icon highlighted.
3. Click Multiview to open a small screen with the same channel.
4. Press the ‘Channel up’ or the ‘Channel down’ button to switch the channel in the large screen.
If you are using 1 CAM to unscramble channels or 2 CAMs with different viewing rights, some combinations of channels might not be available. To watch satellite channels with Multiview, you
must have your satellite installation done for two tuners.

To close Multiview
1. Press the “Multiview” button
2. Select the [Multiview] icon and press the ‘OK’ button on the remote control

Swap Screens
It’s possible to swap the channels from the large screen to the small screen or vice versa.
To swap channels:
1. Press the “Multiview” button
2. Click [Swap]

Open Recent
The Multiview taskbar can quickly reopen a recently used application. The recently used applications are shown at the right of the Multiview icon. The Task Bar shows the recently used apps.
