One of the following happens, while using the “Philips TV Remote” app:
• It is not possible to stream to the television
• The app does not detect the television

Ensure that:
• The software of the TV is up-to-date
• The TV & the smart device are connected to the internet via the same home network
• The “Philips TV Remote” app is supported on the smart device
- Requires iOS 8.0 or later. (iPad, iPhone, iPod)
- Requires Android 4.0.3 or later

To solve the issue, follow these steps:
Update or reinstall the “Philips TV Remote” app
1. Get the latest app on your smartphone/tablet by visiting the following link:

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tpvision.philipstvapp
2. Update or reinstall the app on your smartphone or tablet
Note: Remove previous app installations on the smartphone or tablet. |
1. Turn the TV ON and wait until it is fully started.
2. The TV must be connected to the internet via wired or wireless connection.
3. The Smartphone/Tablet must be connected to the same network as the TV.
4. Launch the “Philips TV Remote” app on the smartphone or tablet.
5. At the bottom of the Left Menu, click on the settings icon .
6. Click on “Select TV”; pull down to “Refresh TV list”.
7. Tap on the TV icon on the left to select your TV.
Additional tips:
• Restart the TV by doing a power cycle (see related articles).
• Restart the smartphone or tablet.
